Our History
Unity Theological Seminary was founded in 2018 by Dr. Sharon D. Burns and Dr. William Dyson with a vision to strengthen students’ understanding of Christian faith and theology. The Seminary places a strong emphasis on the ministry of the Holy Spirit, highlighting the importance of spiritual gifts, fruits, and sound biblical teaching as essential foundations for effective ministry.
Since its founding, Unity has grown into a vibrant institution dedicated to spiritual formation and leadership development. Many of our graduates have gone on to become respected professors, pastors, and ministry leaders, impacting lives in churches, schools, and communities around the world.
